(Please note - I am not actively a professional photographer, all wedding albums/pictures on this website and on social media pages were done for friends & family to help build up my portfoilio. Official start up date for professional services still to be confirmed)
My Style
I like to take the natural/candid approach when shooting a wedding. This is your wedding day…not an organised photoshoot with lighting and backdrops! With this way of shooting I find it is less stressful for the bride and groom, it is your special day and you should not have to worry about feeling you need to always strike a pose every time you see a camera, (I prefer capturing the real emotions of the day, rather than the posed smile).
Of course if you would still like a few posed/group shots that is completely fine, and I may steal you for 15-30 minutes for some natural couple shots when you have a free gap during day, but for the most part I will try to keep off to the side lines taking candid shots and let the day unfold (imagine a sniper with his rifle... but its just little ol’ me and my camera). I am quite a quiet but very friendly and approachable person anyway, so this style fits me perfectly as I will not have to arrange or shout at people for photos.
FAQ's
How much do you charge for your wedding photography?
TBC
Are there any hidden costs in the price package?
Absolutely not!
How long do you stay on the day?
For a normal wedding day, I will be there for the morning preparations, right through till the first dance! Not all wedding days are the same however, so if you are only having a small wedding, get in touch and we can sort out all the different details and price.

Do you do pre-wedding consultations?
I will leave this completely up to you! With my style, the only prepping I would require from you are the times and location, however some people like to meet up with their photographer prior to the day to put themselves at ease. I understand that couples can be insanely busy planning their wedding day and may not have enough time to meet up (I have manged in the past to arrange a whole wedding day through Facebook Messenger so it really is not an issue). Again, I will leave this decision up to you! A little chat at your address or at the local over a quick pint, or just a phone call or text message, whichever you are most comfortable with!
How many photos do you take?
I have no maximum limit on the amount of photos you will get, but for a normal wedding day the minimum is 300+. Some weddings may be different however, in terms of length or the number of guests present, which may affect the amount. If you are having a smaller ceremony, feel free to get in touch for a quote and to discuss the day’s events. All photos will then be individually edited and sent to you on DVD.
What happens on my wedding day if its raining?
Being in Cornwall you can never trust the weather to do want you want. If its raining obviously this may effect the amount of photos taken outdoors. The more we can do outside would be great, but we will just have to see how it plays out on the day. Never let the bad weather affect your special day.
When will my wedding photographs be ready?
I like to get photos edited and sent to you as soon as possible, but without compromising the quality of course. I aim for 1-2 weeks, but other circumstances may affect this so please allow anywhere up to 1 month. All images will be watermark free. I like to include a mixture of colour and B&W photos. I may also share a few images through social media (with you consent of course) whilst I am in the process of editing so that you can get a sneak peak of what your images will look like before you receive the final collection.

Do you carry insurance?
TBC
When do we pay you?
TBC
Do you shoot outside of Cornwall?
Yes I am happy to shoot anywhere! As I will still be keeping my normal weekly job, I may be limited to the amount of days I can have off work if there is a lot of travel involved, but please feel free to contact me and we can try to sort something out.
Will there be another photographer/second photographer on the day?
Nope just me. This way I can focus on my role and capturing the best possible shots and not have to worry about a second shooter and what they are doing.
How can I use my photographs after my wedding?
In any way you like! They are your photos! Feel free to share online with social media, make prints or create as many photo books as you wish.
What equipment do you use?
I have 2 Nikon DSLR cameras with a collection of different prime and zoom lenses to cover me in any situation. I also have a backup camera, hot shoe flash, along with many batteries and memory cards just to be on the safe side.
Do you need feeding on the day itself?
Again I will leave this up to you! If you can, great! If not, no problem at all!
What happens if you become unavailable or ill on the day?
Obviously this is something no photographer ever wants to happen, but is something that can happen. Unless its an urgent family emergency or I am bed ridden/in hospital - I will be there! If i suddenly become unavailable I will do my utmost to try and find another photographer for you and of course give you a full refund.
